He was a co-sponsor of the Monroe County Taxpayer Protection Act a first-of-its-kind cap on spending that helped control property taxes. As a County Legislator from 2004-2015 Legisltor Colby was instrumental in implementing numerous policies and laws that benefited taxpayers.
The state set a one-day record Friday reporting more than 4200 cases abut 600 more than the previous peak in November 2020.
